The original work is spray paint on canvas. It was stolen and thrown in the trash. It reads, "This puts genius-hood within reach of every nigga" an ode to those not spoken to and left out of the conversation. An invitation to disrupt the conservative to include others.
Made to order, the increase in accessibility is an act of rebellion against those that aim to silence people they do not understand and refuse to hold a space for.
Each composition will slightly differ as it is all made by hand.
The funds will assist in covering necessary costs for grad school as I begin to transition into a Master’s program this Fall for Contemporary Art Practices. I must raise $50k and can do this by allowing my work to be re-homed.
