Words have the capacity to manifest themselves. When you speak to yourself, be kind, be motivated, and be love. Last year, a promise was made: the next time a piece was to be displayed, would be within a gallery setting. For six to seven months, that promise was held.
Jetpack Jones invited Blak Kanvas to showcase work at Stay Gallery in Downey for Stay Up at Stay Gallery- an immersive and inclusive experience bringing together visual creators and independent vocal artists that consistently create great content. Obliged, a successful evening commenced.
In response to the great evening, for a solo exhibition, Blak Kanvas was invited by Stay Gallery to present artwork.
New pieces have been created for The Other: An Unpopular Opinion. No expectations are needed. Quick, simple, to the point, but not quite, the artist desires an objective mindset for each, individual piece. Opening ceremony will be held from 8:00p to 11:00 later that evening on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Stay Gallery.
There is so much gratitude to be expressed as well as given. This is history. This is a moment for freedom; for true expression and the ability to know that all things that you want to accomplish can be done. So, continue to make promises- hold yourself accountable.
